Quote from the video text:
“James Fox was the main force behind UFO conference held on November 12, 2007 in National Press Club in Washington DC. Conference ‘Close Encounters’ presented UFO incidents of pilots and military witnesses.

Today, November 12, 2017 is a 10-Year Anniversary of that event. For that purpose I am releasing an interview from my archives that I did with James Fox back in March 2011.”

The UFO conference was filmed by a government agency, according to the video text.

The following speakers participated at the 2007 International Press Conference: John Fife Symington III, U.S. businessman and former Arizona Governor; John Callahan, former Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Division Chief of the Office of Accident, Investigation and Prevention; Charles I. Halt, Colonel, USAF (Ret.); James Penniston, Sergeant, USAF (Ret.); Nick Pope, former UK Ministry of Defence official; Wilfried De Brouwer, Major General, Belgian Air Force (Ret.); Parviz Jafari, General, Iranian Air Force (Ret.); Dr. Anthony Choy, Founding Member OIFAA, Peruvian Air Force; Oscar Alfonso Santa Maria Huertas, Commander, Peruvian Air Force (Ret.); Rodrigo Bravo Garrida, Captain for the Army of Chile; Ray Bowyer, Captain, Aurigny Airlines; Jean-Charles Duboc, Captain, Air France (Ret.); Dr. Jean-Claude Ribes, Astrophysicist, France and Dr. Claude Poher, Engineer, Astronomer, Astrophysicist, France.

The Conference was organised by filmmaker James Fox and investigative journalist Leslie Kean of the Coalition for Freedom of Information.

The radio show is hosted by journalist and UFO researcher Giuliano Marinkovic, a former electronic warfare SIGINT specialist of the Croatian Army.

UFO Case Directory
(SIGHTINGS FROM AIRCRAFT):
“AF Pilots See Light Descend, Maneuver
June 10, 1954
Estacado, Texas”

(NICAP.org)

The whole UFO case report:
Brad Sparks:
June 10, 1954; Estacado, Texas (BBU 3042)
9:09 p.m. USAF pilot Capt. Bill McDonald, in flight, saw a white light descend at 45° from great altitude, pass under his aircraft, make two 360° turns and blink out. (Berliner)

Fran Ridge:
This was a CIRVIS report and listed as an UNKNOWN by Project Blue Book (BBU 3042). After we found the three documents in the Blue Book files I was able to find a few more details. There were actually two pilots which improves the rating somewhat. The other one was Capt. Howard Hendrix. The aircraft (not given in the report) was on a heading of 270 degrees when the white light came from very high altitude at 45-degrees going west to east and passed under the plane and then proceeded to almost touched the ground. The speed was estimated at 500 to 600 knots, then slowed down and made the two 360 degree turns before blinking out. Time in sight was probably more than 30 seconds but the maneuvers preclude any type of meteor or aircraft.”

No radar return of the unknown object was registered. And no EMI was registered.

NICAP.org presents U.S. government (U.S. Air Force) documents that pertain to the UFO case.

Estacado is located in Crosby and Lubbock Counties, North West Texas.

UFO Case Directory
(SIGHTINGS FROM AIRCRAFT):
“UFO Buzzes DC-3
Jan. 20, 1951
Sioux City, Iowa”

(NICAP.org)

The whole UFO case report:
Fran Ridge:
Not listed as an ‘Unknown’ by Project Blue Book, this case was important to the Air Force. Blue Book Captain Ed Ruppelt said that, ‘it didn’t take an expert to see that a B-36, even one piloted by an experienced idiot, could not do what the UFO had done - buzz a DC-3 that was in an aircraft traffic pattern.’ That was the AF explanation and the case was closed.

Brad Sparks:
Jan. 20, 1951; Sioux City, Iowa (BBU)
9:20-9:26 p.m. (CST). Capt. Lawrence W. Vinther, copilot James F. Bachmeier, passengers AF Colonel and aide, and CAA tower controller John M. Williams. At 9:20 the 2 CAA tower controllers sighted light in the W [NW?]. After Vinther’s Mid-Continent Airlines DC-3 took off, he was asked by the tower to look for light, then while still in a climbing 360° turn at about 1,000 ft they spotted object to the NNW at about 8,000 ft and 4 miles away that looked like a B-29 fuselage with wings but no engines, which blinked some lights like running lights. Object came at the DC-3, flew across the nose within 200 ft, they had to turn their heads to follow it then suddenly found it instantly appeared on the other side again, paralleled them for 2-3 secs, then flew under them and disappeared in 2-3 secs to the NW. (Battelle Unknown No. 3; cf. NARCAP)”

NOTE: The BBU catalogue (mentioned in Sparks’ text) is Brad Sparks’ Comprehensive Catalog of 1,700 Project Blue Book UFO Unknowns: Database Catalog (Not a Best Evidence List) (nicap.org).

Five observers (airline pilots and multiple tower operators) witnessed the UFO incident. No radar return of the unknown object was registered.

NICAP.org presents U.S. government (U.S. Air Force) documents (that include several news articles) that pertain to the UFO case.

“Pascagoula UFO Incident – New Witnesses”

By Philip Mantle, 28 October 2018
(The UFO Chronicles)

Mantle recaps the 11 October 1973 Pascagoula, Mississippi, UFO incident and reports on Greek UFO researcher Stefanos Panagiotakis’ investigation of the Pascagoula incident.

Panagiotakis’ interview with Pascagoula UFO witness Emmanuel P. Sigalas is presented in the article. Sigalas and two other witnesses saw the UFO a short time before the Charles Hickson/Calvin Parker incident occurred, according to the interview. Sigalas, Raymond Broadus and a woman named Joan were travelling in a car when they sighted the cylindrical shaped UFO. The unknown object chased the car for a while before changing its course and heading towards the area where Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker were fishing.

UFO Article & Radio Interview:
“David Marler – The Battle of LA UFO Incident –
October 9, 2018”

By Alejandro Rojas
(OpenMinds.tv/Open Minds UFO Radio, Tempe, Arizona)

The so-called “Battle of Los Angeles” occurred on 24 and 25 (p.m. into a.m.) February 1942.

Several UFOs were first sighted over Los Angeles, California, on the night of 24 February 1942.

Excerpt from the Wikipedia article, “Battle of Los Angeles”:
“Air raid sirens were sounded throughout Los Angeles County at 2:25 a.m. and a total blackout was ordered. Thousands of air raid wardens were summoned to their positions. At 3:16 a.m. on February 25, the 37th Coast Artillery Brigade began firing 12.8-pound anti-aircraft shells into the air at the object(s); over 1400 shells would eventually be fired [1]. Pilots of the 4th Interceptor Command were alerted but their aircraft remained grounded. The artillery fire continued sporadically until 4:14 a.m. The objects were said to have taken about 20 minutes to have moved from over Santa Monica to above Long Beach. The ‘all clear’ was sounded and the blackout order lifted at 7:21 a.m.”

It was the contemporary news agencies who named the UFO incident, The Battle of Los Angeles.

The interview starts at 25 minutes.
