UFO News Article:
“Area UFOs on TV show”

15 October 1980

The whole article:
“ABC Television is expected to include a feature of the March 12 [1980] sighting of a UFO in Gladstone on its Monday telecast of ‘That’s Incredible,’ according to Laura Peterson.

Peterson is a California research developer with Landsberg Productions, the company which puts together ‘That’s Incredible’ for ABC.

A film crew for the company was in Delta County in July to film a re-creation of the UFO sighting by four area law enforcement officers. In addition to the four area men, a New York UFO instructor will also be in the 5:17 feature included in the hour-long episode Monday.

Included in Monday’s show will be Gladstone Police Officers Dave Mariin and Mark Hager in addition to Delta County Sheriff’s Deputy Max Streicher and former deputy David Huckstep.

Also part of Monday’s show will be Pete Mazzola and Jim Fillow, international directors of the Scientific Bureau of Investigation. The two New York men were in the area shortly after the sighting by the four officers and verified it as one of the most important to take place in many years anywhere in the U.S.
