UFO Report:
“The 1967 UFO Chronology –
The ‘Mother of all Sighting Waves’ ”

Created: 18 September 2006
Updated: 3 December 2018
(NICAP.org)

Quote from the UFO report:
“This is a massive, 85-page, chronology of UFO incidents and events for 1967. Our thanks for these chronologies must go to our documentation team: Richard Hall (the original 1967 chronology from UFOE II and a huge updated file), William Wise (Project Blue Book Archive), Dan Wilson (archive researcher), and Brad Sparks (Comprehensive Catalog of Project Blue Book Unknowns). Last, but not least, our thanks to Jean Waskiewicz who created the online NICAP DBase (NSID) that helped make it possible to link from the cases to the reports themselves.

The year, 1967, encompassed a major part of the most intensive and long-lasting UFO sighting wave of all time. The wave was a U.S. and international UFO sighting wave that actually began in 1966. Not only was this a massive sighting wave involving nuclear equipped missile shutdowns, but also a number of humanoid incidents were reported along with the usual ground and air incidents. Other information pertaining to the wave are explored in the following reports, the first one available from the Fund for UFO Research; the others online on the NICAP site:

‘Alien Invasion or Human Fantasy? The 1966-67 UFO Wave’ (Richard Hall)
‘1967: The Overlooked UFO Wave and the Colorado Project’ (Richard Hall)
‘The Sighting Wave of 1967 - Indiana: A NICAP Subcommittee Investigation’ (Francis Ridge)
  • On April 21, 1967 the Strategic Air Command reached the level of 1000 operational Minuteman I and II ICBMs.
  • It is extremely interesting, too, that it was actually 1966 when the US reached a peak of 31,700 of stockpiled nuclear warheads. The year 1967 had 30,893 stockpiled, the third highest total, and 1965 had 31,642 stockpiled warheads, 2nd highest total.
  • This was also the year of the third Arab/Israeli war (June 5-10).
  • By year’s end Project Blue Book received 937 UFO reports, even though they classified only 17 as unidentified.
Regarding the incident at Malmstrom on March 16, the 142-page report by Robert Salas and James Klotz can be ordered at Faded Giant. Other missile incidents are explored in the paper by Robert Hastings, ‘UFO Sightings at ICBM Sites and Nuclear Weapons Storage Areas.’ For information on missile deployment, see To Defend & Deter. (1)

The latest update comes from Ref. 3 (see footnotes) by Jacques Vallee, and lists cases from the USSR.

UFO Article:
“Journalists Should Ask These
Questions Re AATIP and TTSA”

By Jan L. Aldrich, 8 February 2019
(The UFO Chronicles)

Quote from the article:
“At least no one will ever accuse me of thinking the same. Frankly, I have other fish to fry, but I feel some comments and questions regarding AATIP and TTSA need to be put forth. Journalists should ask these questions, but with the notable exception of Billy Cox, most journalists are clueless about UFOs. Billy using his experience and sources kept me from walking off a cliff more than once.”
