A brilliant golden, disk shaped UFO hovered south of Akita Airport (Akita, the capital city of Akita Prefecture) for five minutes starting at 10:40 a.m., Richard H. Hall reports:

Quote from the UFO case report:
“The object was observed by control tower personnel and an airline pilot taxiing to take off. Kenichi Waga, telecommunications officer in the control tower, said: ‘It was disc-shaped, larger than a car, but smaller than an airplane.’ ”

E. H. Maarup, a police patrol officer, photographed a UFO 
(6 photos) near Haderslev (Denmark) on 13 August 1970, between 10:50 and 10:55 p.m., Bernard E. Finch reports:


Maarup had been driving about 10 kilometres (from Haderslev) when the car’s engine stopped and the lights went out. And the car’s radio-telephone was inoperable.

“ ‘A powerful, bright light was playing on the car from above. The temperature inside the car increased until it was like that of a very hot summer’s day.’ ”
