An article on Dec. 16, 2017 in the New York Times revealing the program made worldwide headlines. Thus far, short media interviews are all Elizondo has participated in. In this exclusive interview, Elizondo answers questions from UFO Congress social media followers and friends.”

During the interview, Elizondo says: “However, cowardness will never lead us where we need to go.”

The Advanced Aerospace (not Aerial) Threat Identification Program (AATIP) (ran from 2007 to 2012) was run (from 2010, according to Elizondo’s own words in this video) by Luis Elizondo, a military intelligence official, on the fifth floor of the Pentagon’s C Ring. Elizondo is now the Director of Global Security & Special Programs for the To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science.

After 2012, Elizondo oversaw UFO work for five more years before resigning in October 2017.
