El Comercio presents an interview with FAP Colonel Julio José Vucetich Abanto, Director of DINAE, about the Peruvian government’s UFO research department, the Department of Investigation of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena (Departamento de Investigación de Fenómenos Aéreos Anómalos) (DIFAA).

The UFO research department is run by the Directorate of Information and Aerospace Interests (Dirección de Información e Intereses Aeroespaciales) (DINAE), under the official sponsorship of the National Commission of Aerospace Investigation and Development (Comisión Nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo Aeroespacial) (CONIDA) and the Peruvian Air Force (FAP).
