UFO TV Series Segment Transcript:
“HUDSON VALLEY UFO”
(Unsolved.com (“Unsolved Mysteries”), U.S.A. )
This TV series segment reports on the 1980s Hudson Valley , New York ,
UFO wave.
The segment focuses on the UFO incidents that occurred between 1983–1986.
In the comments section, UFO witness after UFO witness write about their
1980s Hudson Valley UFO sightings.
In my opinion—these eyewitness accounts, sighting testimonies by many other witnesses, the animal reaction cases, and the Bob Pozzuoli UFO video—prove that people saw unidentified flying objects.

Quote from the Wikipedia article:
“The Hudson Valley comprises the valley of the Hudson
River and its adjacent communities in the U.S. state of New York, from the
cities of Albany and Troy southward to Yonkers in Westchester County.[1]
Depending upon the definition delineating its boundaries, the Hudson Valley
encompasses a growing metropolis which is home to between 3 and 3.5 million
residents centered along the north-south axis of the Hudson River.”

Quote from the article:
“It was a page right out of War of the Worlds, only this time, it was
real. Back in the mid-1980s, UFO sightings were reported on over fifty separate
nights in the sky over Brewster and parts of the Hudson Valley [New York ].
There were over 9,000 eyewitness accounts of UFO sightings during an
18-month period, many of the which took place in June and July of 1984.”

The whole UFO case report:
“Animal Reaction Feature:
At 8:30 pm, Thunder, a 175-pound Great Dane, ‘went crazy’ and barked for
3 minutes. His owner, Cindy Tillison, went to see what was going on. Thunder
was standing at the sliding doors in the kitchen barking toward the woods. When
Tillison looked, she saw a huge V-shaped object. The object remained for 20
minutes and, throughout this time, Thunder appeared frightened and barked
continuously with ears straight up. The next day he refused to go out.
Joan Woodward, Animal Reaction Feature:
The V-shaped object was glowing a very bright auburn color and had
lights similar to headlights but much larger. When Tillison flicked her
floodlights on and off, the object appeared to move in response, after which
she left the lights off. During the 20 minutes of observation, the object
projected a big, steady beam of light, seemingly from its center. The beam was
very wide, estimated a little less than half the size of the object. The big
round lights did change, going off [and on?—jw] and changing colors. The object
disappeared when the witness was not looking.
No sound was mentioned. No EM effects or physiological effects were
reported.

The whole UFO case report:
“Animal Reaction Feature:
When a group of V-shaped lights approached and passed almost directly
overhead, a family’s pet cat, appearing frightened with its hair standing on
end and its tail straight up, ran into the house.
Joan Woodward, Animal Reaction Specialist:
At 8:45 pm, A Yorktown man with an aerospace background saw a
V-formation of lights that circled his home twice. He estimated its altitude at
1500 feet
and he heard a very quiet sound coming from it.
Jerry Karp, advertising executive, who lived a half mile away from the
above location, noticed bright lights through his window. He went outdoors and saw a V-shaped series of
lights approaching and called his family to come out and look at them. When the lights were at their closest point
to them (almost overhead), the cat reacted as described above. At this point the object turned 90 degrees
and moved away. When overhead, they
heard an engine-like sound that was not loud but clearly audible.

Unsolved Mysteries reports on the UFO incidents that occurred over the Hudson Valley, New York, on 17 and 24 March 1983:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbszKTB5eBc (1)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZD7cm7Duog (2)
Several thousand Hudson Valley residents reported seeing very large, triangular or V shaped UFOs, which flew silently overhead, during 1983 and 1984.
I also reported on the Hudson Valley UFO flap on 11 September 2009.
Bob Pozzuoli managed to film a very large UFO over Brewster, New York, on 24 July 1984, at 10:00 p.m. This UFO sighting is also part of the Hudson Valley UFO flap. The Bob Pozzuoli UFO video can be seen at 4:54 minutes into the second video.

UFO Case Directory (Animal Effect Cases):
“Ossining, New York
March 24, 1983”
(NICAP.org)
The whole UFO case report:
“Animal Reaction Feature:
David Scarpino, accountant, was walking his Golden Retriever around the Ossining
Reservoir at 8:15 pm. He saw bright lights in a boomerang formation hovering
over a large tree a few feet away from him. His dog did not appear to notice
the object.
Joan Woodward, Animal Reaction Specialist:
Scarpino noticed the lights over his shoulder and turned to see 12 bright
lights as described above. He thought the lights were on one solid object and
compared its size to that of a 747. He could hear no sound. As he watched, the
lights slowly turned 180 degrees ‘as if on a wheel’ and started moving south at
walking speed. The object again hovered. All but one blue and one green light
went out, and then those lights blinked out. Nothing more was seen.
No EM effects and no physiological effects were reported.
This was one of hundreds of boomerang sightings between 7:30 pm and 9:30
pm in Westchester and Putnam
Counties .
