The whole article:
“ A Jesuit priest-astronomer here
said he has seen unidentified flying objects — ‘flying saucers’ — in Argentine skies.
Father Benito Reyna, S.J., is professor of mathematics at Salvador
University in Buenos Aires and an astronomer with more than 30 years
experience.
THE FIRST TIME I saw UFOs, I was in Cordoba,’ Father Reyna told newsmen.
‘With the help of my telescope I was able to follow their flight clearly and to
note their shape and color, predominently [sic] white, yellow, red and blue
hues.
‘Then last March I saw them on two successive nights in San Miguel. At
that time Echo II was orbiting the earth and I believe the crew of the flying
saucers was closely following the U.S. man-made satellite to study its
characteristics.”

March 9, 1958
Panama Canal Zone”
(NICAP.org)
NICAP.org presents U.S. government UFO documents that pertain to the 9-10 March 1958 Panama Canal Zone UFO case.
The whole UFO case report:
“Fran Ridge:
This is an interesting uncorrelated target incident,
supported by 17 Blue Book documents.
Dan Wilson:
March 9-10, 1958; Panama Canal Zone
At around 2000
hours an unidentified object was picked up on search radar approaching the
Pacific side of the Isthmus of Panama. At 2045 hours two additional blips were
observed. These returns were transferred to track radar. During the period of
observation the radar lock was broken, the equipment immediately picked up the
target and locked on again. A second radar tracking station also locked onto
the return. The manner of flight of the objects was steady, slightly circular
path over the vicinity of Fort Kobbe, Canal Zone. There was such rapid movement
of the object that it broke the lock of the track radar. It was assumed that
these were solid objects as track radar can only be locked on a solid object.
At 2400 hours, radar advised that as soon as a searchlight was employed the
object became evasive. (Dan Wilson)”
If you compare the “AIR INTELLIGENCE INFORMATION
REPORT” (“SUBJECT: Unidentified Flying Object Report”) (U.S. Air Force) document
(580309panamacanalzone_docs.pdf)
(Pages 4-10) with the Project Blue Book (U.S. Air Force) document (580309panamacanalzone_docs.pdf)
(Pages 1-3) – you clearly see that PBB tries to explain away this UFO case.
Quote from the “AIR INTELLIGENCE INFORMATION REPORT” (“SUBJECT:

“10 March

jet got close, UFO appeared to move away for several miles, then stop.
12:00
Jet returned to Howard. Pilot called and advised nothing was seen. Also
advised Weather Build-up. Radar advised they could distinguish UFO from clouds
and build-ups.”

UFO Article (Blog):
“Luis Elizondo, The Defence Office of
Prepublication and Security Review, and
a ‘DD Form 1910’ Chain of Custody – Part 1”
By Paul Dean, 3 March 2018
(UFOs – Documenting The Evidence, Melbourne,
Australia)
Quote from the article:
“In the last few months a formal, hitherto unknown US
Department of Defence (DOD) program to study the UFO phenomena has been
revealed. Located within the massive Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), the
Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), began in 2007, and
was dissolved in 2012. Beyond that, and yet to be formally admitted, the work
of ATTIP was apparently migrated to an new interagency partnership where it is
still ongoing today. The AATIP effort, for most of its existence, was headed by
DOD staffer, Luis Elizondo, whose career has been spent in specialised defence
intelligence, counter–intelligence and security roles. Since his departure,
last year, from the DOD, Elizondo has appeared in numerous media interviews
regarding the AATIP program, but avoids detailing specific security classified
information. Acres and acres of discussion about the AATIP issue has, unsurprisingly, taken place on social
media and in the press. I do not aim here to further highlight what has already
been revealed, or what hasn’t. My intention, as always, is to provide primary
documentation, or other solidly sourced narrative.
On the 25th of February, 2018, Elizondo was
interviewed by reporter George Knapp for the radio podcast show ‘Coast to
Coast.’ In that presentation, Elizondo revealed that he used the services of
the Defense Office of Prepublication and Security Review (DOPSR). In
conjunction with that effort, Elizondo said he utilised a pair of DOD
publications which govern the clearance and release of certain information to
the public. Importantly, Elizondo stated that the actual document he used was a
‘DD Form 1910.’ ”

“Subject: The Kirtland UFO Incident;
Albuquerque, New Mexico; November 4, 1957”
(NICAP.org)
The whole UFO case report:
“Francis Ridge:
Apparently the UFO flew right-to-left along the
East-West runway, then turned SW toward the tower, stopping near the nuclear
weapons storage area for about a minute. McDonald mentioned that the UFO
stopped near the Kirtland ‘Drumhead Area’ where the B-58 operated. If the
object hovering near a WSA (Weapons Storage Area) didn’t get your attention,
you have to read what the implications might have been with the B-58 ‘Hustler’!
See Joel Carpenter’s preliminary analysis link below. And there’s a lot more.
CAA tower personnel, R. M. Kaser and E. G. Brink, were
reliable observers with 23 years of airport control tower experience between
them. A lighted object came down steeply at the east end of a runway, left the
flight line, crossed runways, taxiways, and unpaved areas at about a 30 degree
angle, and proceeded southwest towards the control tower at an altitude of less
than 100 feet .
Observed through through 7x binoculars, the object appeared to be egg-shaped,
having no wings, tail, or fuselage, and was elongated vertically. It appeared
to be fifteen to twenty feet tall, about the size of an automobile standing on
its nose, and had a single white light at its base. After the UFO left the area
it was tracked on a CPN-18 surveillance radar and it exhibited some amazing
flight characteristics. The object also came back towards Kirtland until it
took up a position behind an Air Force C-46 that had just taken off. It stayed
in position behind the C-46 until they both moved out of radar range.
There have been several UFO incidents in and around
Kirtland AFB through the years. A questionable one happened in 1980, but the
one of November 4th, 1957, was one that has stood the test of time and has been
well covered by Hynek, McDonald, etc.”

“Nation Wide Radar Network Is Alerted”
5 November 1957
(Santa Fe New Mexican, New Mexico)
Source: theufochronicles.com
Quote from the article:
“The Air Force alerted its nation-wide radar network
today to watch for a ‘brilliant mystery object’ that has been reported flying
in a crazy pattern over Texas, New Mexico and the Gulf of Mexico in the last
two days.
Air Force officials said the latest sightings have
been placed in an unexplained category pending investigation …
A statement issued by the Air Force said: ‘The air
defense command radar network is keeping watch . . . trained personnel are
investigating reports on scene.’
The alert coincided with the release of an official
dispatch to U.S. Coast Guard headquarters reporting that the cutter ‘Sebado’ [sic] had contacted the strange object
several times by radar over the middle of the Gulf of Mexico this morning.
Comdr. Clarence H. Waring, skipper of the Sebago, said
the object looked like a ‘brilliant planet.’ His radar contacts indicated that
the object was moving at from 240 to 900 miles an hour, frequently changing its
direction, but at one point appeared to be completely stationary in the sky.”

UFO Book Excerpt:
“The Levelland, Texas, Sightings -
November 2, 1957”
Source: NICAP.org
The excerpt (Pages 123-128) comes from Dr. J. Allen
Hynek’s book, The UFO Experience: A Scientific Inquiry (1972).
Quote from the book excerpt:
“What was needed at the time was swift reaction by
Blue Book and a serious, thorough investigation. Captain Gregory, then head of
Blue Book, did call me by phone, but at that time, as the person directly
responsible for the tracking of the new Russian satellite, I was on a virtual
around-the-clock duty and was unable to give it any attention whatever. I am
not proud today that I hastily concurred in Captain Gregory’s evaluation as ‘ball
lightning’ on the basis of information that an electrical storm had been in
progress in the Levelland area at the time. That was shown not to be the case.
Observers reported overcast and mist but no lightning. Besides, had I given it
any thought whatever, I would soon have recognized the absence of any evidence
that ball lightning can stop cars and put out headlights.
I was told that the Blue Book investigation consisted
of the appearance of one man in civilian clothes at the sheriff’s office at
about 11:45 A.M. On November 5; he made two auto excursions during the day and
then told Sheriff Clem that he was finished.
A newspaper reporter subsequently said that he had
recognized the investigator and identified him as an Air Force sergeant.
In any event, Blue Book came under severe pressure. In
a memo dated December 4, 1957, Captain Gregory complained that.... . as a
result of pressure from both the press and public
. . . Assistant Secretary of Defense requested that
ATIC immediately submit a preliminary analysis to the press . . . a most
difficult requirement in view of the limited data.’ ”
