UFO TV News Report: 
“Luces No Ceu” (Lights in the Sky) 
(TVI)

A UFO was seen flying at high speed over Portugal, with a north to south trajectory. The UFO incident occurred on 1 June 2004, at about 10:30 p.m. The UFO was seen in Guimaraes (north), Guarda, Sintra and Azaruja (south).

The UFO was picked up on radar, according to Paulo Lagarto, Director of the Comunicacao de Navegacao Aerea de Portugal agency (the equivalent of the U.S. FAA) (Video 2) and Carlos Cardoso, a Portuguese Air Force officer (Video 1).

Several civilian witnesses who sighted the UFO are also interviewed in these TV news reports.

This is without a doubt a bona fide UFO incident with solid radar, video footage and multiple witness testimony UFO evidences.

The Russian Navy Releases Its UFO Files

The Russian Navy ran a special UFO research group. This group’s UFO files, which date back to Soviet times, reveal that many crews on board Navy submarine and surface ships have had close encounters with possible UFOs. This UFO incident involved the crew on board a Royal Norwegian Air Force airplane, who was on an Oslo to Northern Norway reconnaissance mission.

The UFO was first sighted in an area south of Trondheim. The unknown object followed the airplane for a very long time, according to the navigator, Olaf Volla. And in this French UFO TV report Volla recounts that the UFO followed close behind the airplane, no matter what manoeuvre the aircraft performed. The object, which was not registered on radar, emitted a very bright white light, and Volla says he got the impression that the bright light concealed a structured object. CORRECTION: This audio recording comes from the Chilean Military, according to the video source. But LAN Chile is the name of Chile’s national airline. And this UFO incident involves a LAN Chile airliner (flight LAN 45). After doing some research, I’ve found that this incident probably is a Boeing 737 UFO encounter, which occurred in 1988. If that’s the case, then it’s likely that this audio recording comes from Chile’s Department of Civil Aeronautics (the equivalent of the U.S. FAA). The Boeing 737 made its final approach to the runway at the Tepual Airport in Puerto Montt City, when the captain saw a UFO, which flew straight towards the airliner.

This is an audio recording (texted in English) of the conversation (recorded during the UFO incident) between the captain of the LAN Chile airliner and a radar operator at the Tepual Airport in Puerto Montt City:

The radar operator also saw the unknown object, but the UFO was not detected by radar. The UFO’s lights changed colour from yellow to red, according to the radar operator.

Furthermore, in the above video report Challender also proves that the NASA TV broadcast signal has a 20 second delay in the 'live' video downlink from the Space Shuttle. He found the evidence in a Russian Mission Control Centre broadcast (78 seconds into video No. 2). A Russian ground controller comments that the ‘live’ video feed, which they are getting from NASA, includes this 20 second delay! And according to Challender – NASA TV also adds 'noice' or 'snow' to live downlinks!!

By enlarging the freeze-frame image of the unknown object in the video, one can see that it's spherical shaped.

The object’s speed seems to rule out the balloon theory – because there was no wind (judging by the leaves on the trees) at the time of the sighting.

NOTE: On 18 July 2008 I posted a report regarding my three mid-June 2007 TV UFO sightings. One of the UFO sightings was a sighting of a UFO (which I videotaped) in a Dagsrevyen (NRK) TV news report.

My report regarding the Dagsrevyen UFO sighting follows:
The next sighting is the first 'real TV' UFO sighting I have seen on Norwegian TV. It occurred on 13 June 2007, a day after the previous sighting. During a Dagsrevyen (NRK) (the main news broadcast) news report regarding Norway’s Labour Union (Landsorganisasjonen, LO), a white, self-luminous, spherical shaped UFO was sighted while it flew slowly, right above the LO building in central Oslo, Norway.

In short – the two sighted unknown objects seem to be identical, flew over exactly the same area of Oslo, at approximately the same altitude, with the same speed, both were daytime sightings and the UFO sightings occurred on almost exactly the same date, two years apart!
