Hampton Roads, Virginia, UFO sightings can be traced
as far back as 1813. A
tavern owner in Portsmouth claimed to have
sighted “a ball of fire” which manoeuvred over Norfolk County .
He even sent a letter to former U.S. President Thomas Jefferson, where he told
about the sighting, the Daily Press reports.
