March 22, 1952; 20 miles S. of Yakima,
Washington (BBU 1076)
6:05 p.m.local time. USAF pilot and radar operator of
F-94 jet interceptor made 2 sightings of a stationary red fireball that
increased in brightness then faded over 45 secs. Note: Project Blue Book Status
Report #7 (May 31, 1952) says target was also tracked by ground radar at 78
knots (90 mph )
at 22,500 ft
and 25,000 ft
altitude. (Berliner)

According to the PROJECT 10073 RECORD CARD the
