“The Research Center of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena of
Chile (Comité de Estudios de Fenómenos Aéreos Anómalos) reported a strange
sighting in which six commercial aircraft spotted moving lights that were
located near the control point called Livor and were not detected on the
radar.”
The crews of six airliners (Flights COPA 174, LAN 639,
LAN 2473, LAN 79, LAN 501 and LAN 577) have testified that they observed
several unknown lights in the early morning of 7 May 2018.
The incident occurred at 4:50 a.m., 300 kilometres to
the west of the city of Antofagasta , Chile
The persons at the control post that is located 380 kilometres east
of Antofagasta
The pilot of COPA 174 managed to photograph the
lights.
