Bay Port, MI Case
November 2, 1986”

The whole UFO case report:
Animal Reaction Feature:
A silent, dimly glowing, inverted-bowl shaped object hovered between farm buildings at low altitude.  A cow was reported as excited with no further detail.  A lame horse was reported to have gotten up and moved 50 feet during the sighting, but there is no information as to exactly when it moved or in what direction.  The object was estimated to be 300 feet from the witnesses.  Position of the animals relative to object or witnesses is not stated.

Joan Woodward, Animal Reaction Specialist:
A 29-year-old female, receptionist for a doctor’s office, was driving to her farm home at 8:45 pm on a partly cloudy night.  One-quarter mile out of town, she saw a dimly glowing, brownish-yellow object with an inverted-bowl shape.  She estimated that it had a 24-foot diameter and was 12-13 feet in height.  As she drove home, the object followed her, coming as close as 30 feet at one point, and at another point, the witness turned south, and the object continued west, then corrected its course and continued to follow witness until she arrived home.

When she arrived home, she called her husband, a 35-year old, self-employed farmer, to see the object.  They watched for about an hour as it hovered between two farm buildings at treetop altitude and about 300 feet from the witnesses.  During this time, the animal behaviors described above were noted.  When the object left, the glow may have been ‘shut off.’

No sound, no EM effect, and no physiological effects were reported.
