Goreham sighted a UFO over Bear Point (situated 3.5 kilometres south-east of Shag Harbour), Nova Scotia, Canada on 4 October 1967, just after midnight.

The Shag Harbour UFO incident occurred on 4 October 1967, at around 11:20 p.m. ADT.
