The heifer was found on the family ranch (64 kilometres (40 miles ) west of Trinidad, Colorado) on 2
September 2012 (the Sunday before Labor Day), according to the rancher, Joseph
L. Torres:
Torres is of the opinion that something
has affected the grass at the site of the mutilation.
