The Charlotte Observer reports on UFO researcher George D. Fawcett’s investigation into the UFO incident. Many UFO sightings have occurred around the McGuire Nuclear Station over the years, Fawcett said in the interview.
The nuclear station is located on Lake Norman in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina (25 kilometres (15 miles) north-west of Charlotte, according to Google Earth).
