Two U.S. Air Force jet fighter pilots chased a UFO over Sandy Hook, New Jersey on 10 September 1951, according to the Tri-City Herald:

The pilots sighted the UFO during a routine flight in a T-33 jet training airplane. And they estimated that the silver coloured, disk shaped UFO flew at a speed of 900 miles per hour.
