The new information regarding Battelle Memorial Institute's "memory metal" research was unearthed by UFO researcher Tony Braglia.
Several reports from Battelle’s study of a nickel/titanium alloy called Nitinol, renowed for its resilience as a "memory metal", are missing from Battelle's files. And Battelle was contracted by the U.S. Air Force to assess and exploit its compelling properties in the late 1940s. Braglia suspects that the data is still highly classified due to its source, a UFO that crashed outside Roswell, N.M., in 1947, according to the article by Billy Cox.
