Dr. J. Allen Hynek Recounts His Meeting
with the “Robertson Panel”, 1974
After a massive UFO sighting wave in 1952 over Washington, D.C. and elsewhere in the U.S., the CIA commissioned a committee (The Robertson Panel, 1953) to study the UFO phenomenon and to discuss what actions the U.S. government should take regarding the situation.
Dr. J. Allen Hynek was an Associate Member of “The Robertson Panel.”

As mentioned earlier on this blog, Dr. J. Allen Hynek (Astronomer) was a scientific adviser to UFO studies undertaken by the U.S. Air Force. It’s therefore very interesting to hear what Hynek thought about “Robertson Panel” proceedings.
