“UFO Sighted On FM 413; Followed Car For Miles”
22 November 1973
(The Rosebud News, Texas )
Source: ufonewspaper.blogspot.com
Quote from the article:
“ ‘It chased us, and we were scared, and our boys were
scared,’ so said Mrs. Fay Seeley and Mrs. Fay Hileman Sunday (18 November 1973)
night when they saw an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) on FM 413 between
Kendrick Ranch entrance and the Brazos River.
Richard Seeley was asked what the UFO looked like to
him, and he said, ‘I don’t know, but it was pointed on top.’
Mrs. Hileman told that, ‘it was, I guess sort of round
and had a point on top and two on the bottom. When it would be bright, I could
not see the points too well, but when it got dimmer, you could see the points
real well, and there were the shadows it cast when it was just over the
highway.’ ”
The UFO was sighted on FM 413, east of Rosebud, and
west of the Brazos
River , near the Kendrick
Ranch, according to the article.

“Unidentified Aerial Phenomena and
the National Reconnaissance Office”
By Keith Basterfield, 21 July 2019
(UFOs – scientific research, Campbelltown,
Quote from the article:
“Background
The To The Stars Academy (TTSA) recently announced
that Chris Herndon was joining their Advisory Board. Herndon initially worked
as a Department of Navy civilian, supporting a variety of agencies, including
the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO.)
This made me ask myself, what did I know about the
NRO? Like many other long-time researchers, the NRO had popped up on my radar
from time to time. So I decided, that in this blog post, I would take a look at
what I could find out about any relationship between the NRO and Unidentified
Aerial Phenomena (UAP.)”
Wikipedia article: “National Reconnaissance Office”:
Quote fron the Wikipedia article:
“The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is a
member of the United States Intelligence Community and an agency of the United
States Department of Defense. NRO is considered, along with the Central
Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Security Agency (NSA), Defense Intelligence
Agency (DIA), and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), to be one of
the ‘big five’ U.S. intelligence agencies.[2] The NRO is headquartered in
unincorporated Fairfax County, Virginia,[3] 2 miles (3.2 km ) south of Washington
Dulles International Airport.
It designs, builds, and operates the reconnaissance
satellites of the U.S.
federal government, and provides satellite intelligence to several government
agencies, particularly signals intelligence (SIGINT) to the NSA, imagery
intelligence (IMINT) to the NGA, and measurement and signature intelligence
(MASINT) to the DIA.[4]
The Director of the NRO reports to both the Director
of National Intelligence and the Secretary of Defense[5] and serves in an
additional capacity as Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Intelligence Space
Technology). The NRO’s federal workforce consists primarily of Air Force, CIA,
NGA, NSA, and Navy personnel.[6] A 1996 bipartisan commission report described
the NRO as having by far the largest budget of any intelligence agency, and
‘virtually no federal workforce’, accomplishing most of its work through ‘tens
of thousands’ of defense contractor personnel.[7]”

“Is the US Office of Naval Intelligence
now part of the AATIP effort?”
By Keith Basterfield, 9 July 2019
(UFOs – scientific research, Campbelltown,
Quote from the article:
“Danny Silva
In a blog post dated 6 July 2019, US researcher
Danny Silva noted, that in episode 6 of the ‘Unidentified’ TV series, former
Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) manager, Luis Elizondo
stated:
‘AATIP is no longer run by a single office. There's
now several offices that are engaged in this effort...and it is being run with
official blessing.’
When Elizondo resigned from the Department of Defense,
in October 2017 he signed his resignation letter ‘Luis D Elizondo, Director,
National Program Special Management Staff, OUSD(I).’ So, we know that AATIP
then lay within the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence.
What other offices might now be involved in the AATIP? Do we have any clues? I
think we do.”
Wikipedia article: “Office of Naval Intelligence”:
Quote from the Wikipedia article:
“The Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) is the
military intelligence agency of the United States Navy. Established in 1882
primarily to advance the Navy’s modernization efforts,[4][5] ONI is the oldest
member of the United States Intelligence Community and serves as the nation’s
premier source of maritime intelligence. Since the First World War, its mission
has broadened to include real-time reporting on the developments and activities
of foreign navies; protecting maritime resources and interests; monitoring and
countering transnational maritime threats; providing technical, operational,
and tactical support to the U.S. Navy and its partners; and surveying the
global maritime environment. ONI employs over 3,000 military and civilian
personnel worldwide and is headquartered at the National
Maritime Intelligence
Center in Suitland , Maryland .”

“After U.S. Congressional UAP briefings -
What comes next?”
By Keith Basterfield, 5 July 2019
(UFOs – scientific research, Campbelltown,
Quote from the article:
“In a blog post dated 28 August 2018, I pondered which
US Congressional Committees, might have an interest in receiving
briefings/holding hearings, on the subject of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena? My
best estimate, at that time, was the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC.)
This Committee currently has 28 members on it. One of that Committee's
sub-committees is the Emerging Threats and Capabilities (ETC) sub-committee.
Luis Elizondo, former Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP)
manager, constantly mentions the word ‘threat’ in his talks. There are seven
Senators who sit on both the SASC and the ETC sub-committee.”

National Mall. The Capitol was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1960.
