The organiser of the two-day UFO conference was the British UFO Research Association (BUFORA).

UFO researchers from fourteen countries gathered in London. And U.S. astronomer and ufologist Dr. J. Allen Hynek was one of the speakers.

Official British air historian Charles Harvard Gibbs-Smith is interviewed in the article. Gibbs-Smith says: “Everyone knows they exist … I know for a fact that Jodrell Bank tracks UFOs on its radar as a routine measure these days.”

This Discovery Channel documentary film excerpt shows a UFO which was filmed during the first U.S. spacewalk on 3 June 1965.

This is a news article regarding the release of the NSA document “In Camera Affidavit of Eugene F. Yeates: Citizens Against UFO Secrecy v. National Security Agency, October 9, 1980”:

The once-classified affidavit was released in redacted form on
3 November 2005 in response to a Freedom of Information Act
(FOIA) request from UFO researcher Michael Ravnitzky.

The document reveals that the NSA has authored two UFO papers called “UFO Hypothesis and Survival Questions” and “UFOs and the Intelligence Community Blind Spot to Surprise or Deceptive Data”.

This proves that the NSA takes the UFO issue seriously.

It was Staff Sergeant Danny K. Lewis who first sighted the UFO near the Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, Maine. The UFO circled the nuclear weapons storage area to within 300 yards of the facility. After a while, the UFO began to hover 150 feet above the ground. And shortly thereafter, the base was placed on a major alert status. Radar tracked the UFO for over 40 minutes:
