UFO news article:
“Residents report odd lights”
17 November 1994
(The Taos News, New Mexico )
The whole article:
“If you happened to be outside at night last September and saw a strange
glowing object moving across the sky, you were not alone.
People from New Mexico to Alaska have reported seeing a large number of
unidentified flying objects, enough to be called a major ‘flap’ by officials of
the UFO Reporting
Center in Seattle , Washington .
Incidents were reported above Amor
Lane near Taos
High School and at other areas in Taos in September,
according to a story in the Monday (Nov. 14) issue of The Santa Fe New Mexican.
Maida Martinez, her husband Toby, and Eric Tafoya of Taos all reported
seeing an object described as a ‘bright, white light, accompanied by about a dozen
smaller lights’ flying low over populated areas of Taos.
Air Force bases in New Mexico and the
Federal Aviation Administration in Albuquerque
declined to comment on the sightings.
Northern New Mexico and southern Colorado
have bee the center of dozens of UFO sightings since the late 1960s, some
apparently linked to reports of cattle mutilations.”

UFO Radio Interview:
“Randall Nickerson & Emily Trim,
Ariel Phenomenon”
Streamed live: 10 September 2019
(Podcast UFO, Sebago ,
Maine )
Source: Martin Willis Live Shows (YouTube channel)
Video text:
“Alejandro Rojas with Updates, and a very interesting
25th Anniversary show with Randall Nickerson and Ariel School Incident witness,
Emily Trim. We discuss this incident, the 10 year making of the completed and
to be released film, Ariel Phenomenon,
Emily discusses the encounter as well as the impact it has made on her
life and others, this is a show not to miss!
Synopsis: Ariel Phenomenon is about the human search
for acceptance and meaning. It's about struggling to live with a secret and its
devastating effects on your life. In this character-driven travelogue we follow
Emily, a Toronto
resident and one of sixty schoolchildren who, in 1994, were part of what has
become one of the most famous sightings of extraterrestrial beings and their
craft. In the first feature documentary produced on the incident, Emily returns
to the Ariel School
in Zimbabwe ,
the place that, at the age of nine, shattered her reality. We meet Tim Leach, a
respected BBC war reporter who reluctantly covered the event, ultimately
leading him to risk his career on the one story that haunted him the most. Also
jeopardizing his reputation is Pulitzer Prize-winning Harvard professor of
Psychiatry Dr. John Mack, whose validation of the authenticity of the witnesses
made this incident impossible to ignore. Twenty years later, Emily and her
classmates are searching for answers and the courage to speak their truth in
the face of a hostile world. Though this story was initially publicized
worldwide, it quickly disappeared from the public eye but not from the hearts
and minds of those who witnessed it. The event continues to have a deep impact
on many of their lives. Their courage, conviction and consistency, both then
and now, makes it difficult to dismiss this account as a child's imagination.
For twenty years many of the witnesses have felt that their voices have not
been heard. Until now.”
My comment: This UFO
incident involved sixty-two school children who sighted a landed UFO and two
beings at the Ariel School in Ruwa ,
Zimbabwe , on 16
September 1994.

“Significant Release Of Never-Before-Seen
Australian UFO Policy.... And Get Excited....
Because Some Of It Is Still Classified – Part 3”
By Paul Dean, 7 February 2016
(UFOs – Documenting The Evidence, Melbourne,
Australia)
Quote from the article:
“Some of you will be aware that in 1994 the Royal
Australian Air Force’s (RAAF) official policy of accepting and investigating
UFO sightings, or ‘Unusual Aerial Sightings’ (UAS) as they called them, was
massively downgraded to almost nothing at all. I knew there would be a paper
trail (beyond what was already released years ago) which hadn’t been appraised
before. In September, 2015, using the powerful Freedom of Information (FOI)
Act, I submitted a detailed request to the Department of Defence (DoD) for any
material that “went into” this policy downgrade. They issued me, at some cost,
42 pages of never-before-seen administrative records from that era. This is the
third and final Part of this series. For those who wish to start from the
beginning, have a look at Part 1 and Part 2.
Beyond what I have highlighted previously, there are
some more records that are of some interest. A 3 page ‘Message Form’ dated 24th
December, 1993 was sent to six ‘Air Indicator Groups’ (AIG). An AIG is a list
of preset destinations for internal message routing. This particular message
was titled ‘Unusual Aerial Sightings: Revised Policy’ and had a file reference
138/93/DGPP. DGPP stands for Director General of Plans and Policy. The author
was Air Commodore S. T. James who was DGPP for the RAAF in 1993 and 1994.”

Quote from the article:
“In 1994, the Royal Australian Air Force’s (RAAF)
policy of accepting and investigating UFO sightings, or ‘Unusual Aerial
Sightings’ (UAS) as they called them, was downgraded to virtually no policy at
all. But, like all things in modern government, there had to be a paper trail.
In September, 2015 I submitted a Freedom of Information (FOI) request to the
Department of Defence (DOD) for any material that ‘went into’ this policy
downgrade, and I was recently provided with never-before-seen administrative
records from that era. I have discussed some of these records in Part 1 of this
series, which can be found here:
In this Part 2 of the series, I aim to continue providing imagery and discussion regarding this important release of information. In Part 1, the main item I studied was Wing Commander (later Group Captain) Brett Biddington’s (ret) lengthy draft of background information and suggestions which would soon morph into the 1994 downgrade of their UAS policy. One surprise was the level of security classification on much of this material. I also emphasized that some of it remains classified, and has been redacted (blacked out) so it could be released to me.”

“Carmen Utter, 15, said she
heard a loud noise like the wind, but did not see any signs of wind.
Utter’s reported sighting was
the latest in a series of UFO sightings in Erie County in recent years. Most of
the sightings were centered near Perkins Township and occurred in the summer.
‘It was pretty big – bigger than
an airplane, about the same size as a blimp,’ she said.
She said she saw red, green and
white lights going around like a beacon.
Her parents also saw the object
and reported it to the Erie County Sheriff’s Department.
A sheriff’s deputy responding
to the call also saw the brightly lighted object.”
