“WASHTENAW FARMER TELLS OF UFO –
‘The Dogs Suddenly Went Crazy,
And Then I Saw It’ ”
22 March 1966
(The Times Herald, Port Huron , Michigan )
Source: ufonewspaper.blogspot.com
The article reports on the 20 March 1966 Dexter, Michigan , UFO incident.
The unknown object was sighted by Frank Mannor and his
family (and dozens of other citizens, according to NICAP.org (nicap.org)).
Both cattle and dogs reacted (animal reaction) to the
presence of the UFO.
This is the most in-depth article I have read about
the Dexter case.
Quote from the article:
“Before long, at least a dozen deputies and policemen
stood with the family with their eyes glued on the object over the swamp.”

“MoD UFO Files”
By Nick Pope
(nickpope.net)
Quote from the article:
“The British Government is in the process of
declassifying and releasing its entire archive of UFO files. Nick Pope worked
on these files, wrote many of the documents in them, and – through his hundreds
of media interviews – has been the public face of the release process. The
following Q&A with Nick Pope is drawn from previous interviews. It gives an
overview of the release of the files and is also designed to be a quotable
resource for journalists covering the story (see especially the quotes at the
end).”

UFO Report:
“The 1958 UFO Chronology”
Created: 24 February 2006
Updated: 24 April (year unknown)
(NICAP.org)
Quote from the UFO report:
“This is a 9-page report on a project involving a
number of people. A lot of the incidents do not yet have active links to
reports. Blue Book microfilms are only processed to mid-1952, so it will be
some time before we can accomplish that goal. However, this is a comprehensive
list for 1958 and will also suffice as a good work and checklist for our team.
With the help of William Wise (Project Blue Book Archive), and Dan Wilson
(archive researcher), the task becomes much easier. But without Brad Sparks’
updated list, the Comprehensive Catalog of Project Blue Book Unknowns, the
entire project would have been impossible. And our thanks also go to Jean
Waskiewicz who created the online NICAP DBase (NSID) that helped make it
possible to link from the cases to the reports themselves. Note: Entries marked
Cat. 3 are E-M (Electro-Magnetic interference cases) from the Cat. 3 printout
where sources are listed. ‘UFOE’ is the NICAP publication, The UFO Evidence
(Richard Hall, 1964).
NICAP Site Coordinator
April 14, 1958; Albuquerque, N. Mex.
Air Force Staff Sergeant saw large formation of unidentified
lights. [UFOE, III]”
I also reported about this UFO report on 13 April
2011.

Wikipedia article: “McChord Field”:
Quote from the Wikipedia article:
“McChord Field (IATA: TCM, ICAO: KTCM, FAA LID: TCM)
is a United States Air Force base in the northwest United States, in Pierce
County, Washington. South of Tacoma, McChord Field is the home of the 62d
Airlift Wing, Air Mobility Command, the field’s primary mission being worldwide
strategic airlift.
The McChord facility was consolidated with the U.S.
Army’s Fort Lewis on 1 February 2010 to become part
of the Joint Base Lewis-McChord complex.[2] This initiative was driven by the
Base Realignment and Closure Round in 2005 and is designed to combine current
infrastructure into one maximizing war fighting capability and efficiency,
while saving taxpayer dollars.[3]”
