U.S. Government UFO Document: “AIR INTELLIGENCE INFORMATION REPORT – REPORT NO. IR-1-52”

An oval shaped, orange UFO (flying at terrific speed) was sighted by the pilot and crew of a C-54 type aircraft of the 53rd Troop Carrier Squadron while flying over the Sea of Japan (Kyushu area) on 4 March 1952. The C-54 was returning to Ashiya Air Base, and was approximately 15 miles west of the base, according to the document:
