“The Nimitz Encounters 2 Update”

“Update! 3 new witnesses have come forward as a direct result of my film. In addition to the Radar controlman Senior Chief Kevin Day and Computer tech Petty Officer Gary Voorhis, Welcome Aviation Tech Petty Officer PJ Hughes of USS Nimitz, Petty Officer Jason Turner of USS Princeton and Radar operator "Roger" of VAW-117 Wallbangers. Each saw the Docu and reached out to me in November 2018.”

The documentary (produced by filmmaker David C. Beaty) recounts the 14 November 2004 USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group 11 UFO incident (occurred about a hundred miles south west of San Diego, California).

A large number of UFOs were recorded on radar on and off for several days during the November 2004 U.S. Navy exercise, according to USS Princeton radar operator Kevin M. Day.

To my knowledge, five U.S. Navy personnel, Kevin M. Day, David Fravor, P. J. Hughes, Omar Lara and Jim Slaight, have talked about the UFO incidents on the Internet.

Kevin M. Day was a radar operator aboard the USS Princeton.

David Fravor, who chased the UFO (resembled a white Tic Tac), was flying his F/A-18F Super Hornet jet fighter.

At the time of the UFO incident, Fravor was the commanding officer of the VFA-41 Black Aces, a U.S. Navy strike fighter squadron.

P. J. Hughes was an aviation technician aboard the USS Nimitz.

Omar Lara was a Flight Decker in Air Ops aboard the USS Nimitz.

Lieutenant Commander (later Commander) Jim Slaight was the pilot of the second F/A-18F Super Hornet jet fighter.

The following talk is of interest because it indicates that most members of a good-sized group of technical/military type personnel are interested and receptive to information regarding the UFO phenomenon.

On July 6th, I was the keynote banquet speaker at the 50th reunion of the White Sands Missile Range Pioneer Group. About 200 people were in attendance, all with military affiliation (of course, spouses were there too) of some kind.

The attendees included those ‘pioneers’ who founded America’s missile and rocketry program out of White Sands, representatives of the Department of Defense, Army, Air Force, Navy, people connected with Los Alamos, Sandia Labs, Lockheed Martin, NASA, private space program development, etc. — including Werner [sic] Von Braun’s brother and the discoverer of Pluto. I was asked to come to speak to this group about the Roswell Incident, UFOs and ETs.”
