“The Carmel Police Department said Thursday that three
police officers called to witness the sighting of an unidentified flying object
over nearby Mahopac actually saw something that they couldn’t identify pulsing
in the sky.
The object was spotted and reported Wednesday night by
Robert Janowski, 14, of Carmel.
Officers Tom Budington, Kenneth Stern and Dennis
Freyler were preparing a report on the multicoloured object for the Federal
