Wilmington Morning Star reports on several Georgia UFO sightings that occurred in early September 1973:

The Beaver County Times reports that several UFO sightings were made in Georgia on 8 and 9 September 1973:

Several Newnan, Georgia residents reported UFO sightings on 9 September.
Newnan is situated 55 kilometres (34 miles) south-west of Atlanta.
Sunday night (9 September), a Spaulding County sheriff’s deputy sighted two descending red lights.
