UFO News Article:
“MILITARY: Pentagon formally
releases Navy UFO videos”

27 April 2020
(The San Diego Union-Tribune, California)

The article reports on the 27 April 2020 U.S. Department of Defense’s UFO videos release.

The newspaper presents all three UFO videos.

All the videos are recorded by U.S. Navy personnel.

The FLIR1 video was recorded on 14 November 2004 and the Gimbal and GoFast videos were recorded on 21 January 2015.

It was (USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group 11) F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter pilot Lieutenant Chad Underwood who filmed (on 14 November 2004) the Tic Tac (FLIR1) UFO using a Raytheon AN/ASQ-228 Advanced Targeting Forward-Looking Infrared (ATFLIR) pod. The UFO was filmed a while after David Fravor’s incident (occurred about a hundred miles south west of San Diego, California).

And it was the USS Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group 9 that held exercises approximately 100 miles east (JAX OPAREA), equidistant between Jacksonville, Florida, and Savannah, Georgia, in January 2015.

UFO Article:
“Former Pentagon intelligence
officer reacts to UFO video release”

Updated: 29 April 2020
(Mystery Wire, KLAS-TV, Las Vegas, Nevada)

George Knapp presents a statement by Luis Elizondo regarding the re-release of the FLIR1, Gimbal and GoFast videos.

Elizondo says that he is encouraged that the 27 April 2020 U.S. Department of Defense statement confirms the validity of the three UFO videos.

Elizondo ran the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) from 2010 (according to Elizondo’s own words in the following video: youtube.com). AATIP ran from 2007 to 2012. After 2012, he oversaw UFO work for five more years before resigning from the U.S. Department of Defense in October 2017. Elizondo is now the Director of Global Security & Special Programs for the To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science.

U.S. Government UFO News Release Article:
“IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Statement by the Department of Defense
on the Release of Historical Navy Videos”

27 April 2020
(U.S. Department of Defense, Washington, D.C.)

The whole article:
“The Department of Defense has authorized the release of three unclassified Navy videos, one taken in November 2004 and the other two in January 2015, which have been circulating in the public domain after unauthorized releases in 2007 and 2017.  The U.S. Navy previously acknowledged that these videos circulating in the public domain were indeed Navy videos. After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorized release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems, and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena. DOD is releasing the videos in order to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real, or whether or not there is more to the videos. The aerial phenomena observed in the videos remain characterized as "unidentified."  The released videos can be found at the Naval Air Systems Command FOIA Reading Room: https://www.navair.navy.mil/foia/documents.”

A Spanish Air Force Lockheed T-33 encountered an unidentified object while flying at an altitude of 1,200 meters. Attempts to contact the object failed. The object soon moved off, playing with the aircraft, stopping awhile, waiting for it to approach, then moving again, and so forth. When directly above or below the object, the plane’s radios ceased to function and emitted he type of interferences produced by storms. The object alternately moved ahead of the jet, hovered as if waiting for it to catch up, then moved away again. The pilots notified their base at Talavera-Balajoz and two faster aircraft were sent up from the base at Torrejon. According to one of Europe's leading researchers, Antonio Ribera, these aircraft also experienced the same radio interference when in the vicinity of the object, which once again performed similar maneuvers before disappearing vertically at a vertiginous speed, vanishing instantly from sight. (Sources: Above Top Secret, Timothy Good, 1987; FSR vol.14 N°3, article by Antonio Ribera; NARCAP Case 29)”

My comment:
T-33 airplanes have been involved in many UFO incidents (see below link).
