UFO Paper:
“NCP-05: UFOs Continue to
Visit Nuclear Energy Sites”

By George D. Fawcett
(NICAP.org)

Quote from the paper:
“Looking back over the years during the 40th anniversary of UFOs in modern times (JUNE 24,1987) it is interesting to note that UFOs have been seen and recorded near various atomic energy locations in this country and overseas. This link was first noticed by Captain Edward Ruppelt in 1952 and reported in a LOOK magazine article (JUNE 24,1952) titled ‘Hunt For The Flying Saucer.’ Captain Ruppelt, who directed the U.S. Air Force Project Blue Book at that time, when viewing a folder of 63 mystifying UFO reports that had been plotted on a map of the United States discovered that it showed ‘an ominous correlation’ with the location of various atomic energy installations. LOOK magazine learned that some high ranking officers had taken note of this fact and had then held a Pentagon conference to discuss these numerous strange concentrations that have continued to this day.

Such incidents at the Savannah River, Hanford, Los Alamos, Oak Ridge, McGuire , Cherokee and Indian Point nuclear and atomic plants are of continued vital interest and concern to scientific, military, civilian and governmental observers everywhere.

These UFO encounters raise such serious questions as: Are UFOs monitoring our atomic and nuclear energy sites and if so, why? Why has the AEC (Atomic Energy Commission) (now NRC) had representatives on most of all the major government UFO investigative projects? Why do guards at some AEC installations report their UFO encounters directly to the AEC?”

Quote from the article:
“4. Flying saucers could be interplanetary spaceships or missiles. Air Force intelligence men say they are continually astounded by the number of trained scientists who believe they are interplanetary in origin. Lieutenant Ruppelt says he has talked with hundreds of scientists and heard many such theories.”

UFO News Article:
“Secret dossier reveals British spies spent half a century trying to catch a UFO so they could use its alien technology to build SUPERWEAPONS”

Updated: 1 July 2018
(Daily Mail, London, UK)

The article reports on the release of three (secret and highly sensitive) UK Ministry of Defence UFO files (more than 1,000 pages).

The MoD have been desperately trying to delay the release of the three files for more than a decade, according to Dr. David Clarke.

A report called “UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) in the UK Air Defence Region” is part of the three files.

It is important to remember that the UK MoD announced in June 2013 – that the department had released all its UFO files.

UFO Article & Video Interview:
“THE CALVINE UFO INCIDENT”

29 April 2016
(ufohub.net, U.S.A.)

UFO HUB presents an interview with Nick Pope, former UK Ministry of Defence UFO Desk officer (1991-1994).

Pope talks about a UFO incident that occurred over the Scottish village of Calvine on 4 August 1990.

A diamond shaped UFO was sighted over Calvine (north of Pitlochry) by two men, and one of the witnesses managed to take six photographs of the unknown object.

The Daily Telegraph reported that the photos also show two UK military Harrier jets which circled the UFO before they flew away at great speed (telegraph.co.uk).

UFO Audio Interview:
“2004 Nimitz TIC TAC UFO / Cmdr. David Fravor
/ Presented by Jeremy Corbell”

Published: 23 June 2018 (Part 1)/27 June 2018 (Part 2)
Source: Jeremy Corbell (YouTube channel)

Commander David Fravor, U.S. Navy (Ret.), recounts the
14 November 2004 USS Nimitz UFO incident (occurred about a hundred miles south west of San Diego, California).

Fravor was flying his F/A-18F Super Hornet jet fighter when the incident occurred.

At the time of the UFO incident, Fravor was the commanding officer of the VFA-41 Black Aces, a U.S. Navy strike fighter squadron.

Fravor also mentions  two 1990s USO incidents (occurred off Puerto Rico) that involved the U.S. Navy. The discussion about the USO incidents starts at 14:57 (Part 2).

“2004 Nimitz TIC TAC UFO Event Series /
New Witness / Presented by Jeremy Corbell”

Published: 13 June 2018

Quote from the video text:
“Trevor was an E4 (Petty Officer Third Class) Naval Operations Specialist, providing command technical information and assistance related to Anti-Surface and Anti-Air Warfare. And as a radar operator, he was direct witness to one of the most current and well documented UFO encounters in modern history.

The 2004 Nimitz ‘Tic Tac’ UFO encounters became the tip of the spear in the public debate on UFOs. Commander David Fravor, a fighter pilot with the Black Aces, came forward with his experiences and testimony. There were a number of individuals during the events, who were aware of what was unfolding… Trevor is one of them. More and more witnesses are coming forward to date.

For those of you who remember, the Tic Tac UFO case is one that I reported on, on Coast to Coast AM with George Knapp, both in May and October of 2017.”

“MEMORANDUM FOR COLONEL H.E. WATSON, AMC”

7 July  1950
(U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C.)

Source: UFOs and Government: A Historical Inquiry

Quote from the document (Page 498):
“         1.  I am sending this by Major Pianitsa hoping to save the bother of an officially coordinated directive. Gen Cabell’s views regarding the ‘Flying Saucer’ project are in substance as follows:

                  a.  He feels that it probably was a mistake to abandon the project and to publicly announce that we are no longer interested. However, the decision having been made, he feels that it was incumbent upon him not to overrule, at least for the time being.”

The letter (deals with the closure of Project Grudge) is written by Colonel Barber, AFOIC.

Google Books does not show Page 2 of the document.

The last part of the document (paragraphs c, d, e, f and g) is presented on Pages 101 and 102.

Quote from the Wikipedia article:
“Charles Pearre Cabell (October 11, 1903 – May 25, 1971) was a United States Air Force General and Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (1953–1962).

Cabell achieved the rank of colonel in 1942 and brigadier general in 1944, serving both at air force headquarters at the Pentagon and in the European Theater. During the late 1940s and early 1950s, he held a variety of staff headquarters positions, including chief of Air Force Intelligence 1948-1951, and director of the staff for the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1951-1953.

In 1949, Cabell set up Project Grudge to ‘make a study reviewing the UFO situation for AF HQ.’ However, Grudge quickly became all but moribund, while simultaneously reporting that all UFO cases were being closely investigated. When Cabell learned of this, he ordered Grudge dissolved and ordered that the ‘open minded’[1] Project Blue Book be created.”

UFO Case Directory:
“Alaskan Radar Case
January 22, 1952
Nenana, Alaska”

(NICAP.org)

The whole UFO case report:
Francis Ridge:
Jan. 22, 1952; Nenana, Alaska
This was a an incident involving both ground and airborne radar. Three F-94’s were scrambled to intercept the radar target. The UFO maneuvered and radar indicated it streaked away to the west. The object was tracked at 23,000 feet and clocked at 1500 mph. At first the Air Force claimed this was a weather target. But when you read the documents below you can see they never explained this incident.

Capt. Edward J. Ruppelt:
A month or two after we’d received the report, I was out in Colorado Springs at Air Defense Command Headquarters. I was eating lunch in the officers’ club when I saw an officer from the radar operations section at ADC. He asked me to stop by his office when I had a spare minute, and I said that I would. He said that it was important.”

NICAP.org presents U.S. government (U.S. Air Force) documents that pertain to the UFO case.

Wikipedia article: “Clear Air Force Station”:

Quote from the Wikipedia article:
“Clear Air Force Station (‘Clear’ colloq.) is a United States Air Force Station radar station for detecting incoming ICBMs and submarine-launched ballistic missiles[3] to NORAD’s command center and to provide Space Surveillance data to Air Force Space Command’s Space Control Center (SCC). Clear’s AN/FPS-123 Upgraded Early Warning Radar is part of the Solid State Phased Array Radar System (SSPARS) which also includes those at Beale AFB, Cape Cod AFS, RAF Fylingdales and Thule Site J. The ‘historic property’ was one of the Alaska World War II Army Airfields and later a Cold War BMEWS site providing NORAD data to Colorado’s BMEWS Central Computer and Display Facility (CC&DF).

In addition to the ‘original camp area’ with buildings still in use today,[4] areas of the station include the airfield (ICAO: PACL), the ‘SSPARS Site’[5] the technical site (Utilador,[6] BMEWS reflectors, support buildings, power plant), and the composite site (two permanent dormitories, a mess hall, recreation area, and administrative area).[citation needed] In addition to the Air National Guard unit, Clear has active duty USAF, Royal Canadian Air Force, civilian, and contractor personnel.”

Clear Air Force Station is located in Nenana, Alaska.
