“NORAD fails to find UFOs seen on radar”,

Two U.S. National Guard jet fighters were sent to the Sudbury (Ontario, Canada) area to check for UFOs on 11 November 1975, according to the The Windsor Star:

The jet fighters were sent from the NORAD base at Selfridge, Michigan.

“The radar tracking of an object was observed early Tuesday morning by staff of the Canadian Air Forces base (official name: Canadian Forces Station Falconbridge) at nearby Falconbridge. Several area police also saw four objects they described as bright, white lights.
In Colorado Springs, Colo., Del Kindschi (not Kindschia), a public information officer for NORAD, confirmed that Falconbridge had sent a report on the radar sighting.”
