On This Day [UFOINFO.com UFO case report]:

September 21

1966 - Eight members of the Royal Canadian Air Force saw a bright object that flew down at high speed in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It stopped abruptly, remained at ground level for 20 minutes, then flew away straight up. There was radar-visual confirmation of the UFO over a missile site. NORAD was alerted and jet interceptors were scrambled.
