The crews of six airliners (Flights COPA 174, LAN 639, LAN 2473, LAN 79, LAN 501 and LAN 577) have testified that they observed several unknown lights in the early morning of 7 May 2018.

The airline crews sighted the unknown lights near a control point known as Livor (off the coast of the city of Antofagasta, Chile). The persons at the control post that is located 380 kilometres east of Antofagasta also sighted the unknown lights.

Chile’s Committee for the Study of Aerial Anomalous Phenomena (Comité de Estudios de Fenómenos Aéreos Anómalos) (CEFAA) is investigating the case, according to the article.

The article contains a UFO photo, photographed by the pilot of COPA 174.

The unknown lights were not detected on radar.
