The UFO was first sighted over Tehran on the evening of

Chris talks about where he ventured with interests in the UFO topic when he was on the inside. What access levels government officials may or may not have, including the US president and why he joined UFOData, as well as the goals they hope to achieve.

Chris Mellon’s background: Chris graduated from Yale with a Master’s Degree in International Relations, he worked for many years for the US Department of Defense as the Deputy Assistant Secretary, Security & Information Operations as well as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Minority Staff Director of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

His responsibilities included review and oversight of intelligence activities, which included Area 51 and other sensitive governmental locations. He also spent over a decade on the Senate Intelligence Committee, involved in oversight of NRO, CIA, NSA and other intelligence organizations. He became the first Congressional official to review all of the NSA’s compartmented programs. Chris is the recipient of numerous awards, including the National Reconnaissance Office Gold Medal and the Defense Intelligence Agency Director’s Medal.

Chris has had a lifetime fascination with UFOs, and has recently became a Board Member of UFODATA, UFO Detection & Tracking as he believe the topic needs serious scientific investigation and is putting his efforts forward.”

Christopher Mellon is now the National Security Affairs Advisor for the To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science.

         “For some time we have been concerned by the recurring reports on flying saucers. They periodically continue to cop up; during the last week, one was observed hovering over Neubiberg Air Base for about thirty minutes. They have been reported by so many sources and from such a variety of places that we are convinced that they cannot be disregarded and must be explained on some basis which is perhaps slightly beyond  the scope of our present intelligence thinking.

          When officers of this Directorate recently visited the Swedish Air Intelligence Service. This question was put to the Swedes. Their answer was that some reliable and fully technically qualified people have reached the conclusion that ‘these phenomena are obviously the result of a high technical skill which cannot be credited to any presently known culture on earth.’ They are therefore assuming that these objects originate from some previously unknown or unidentified technology, possibly outside the earth.”

The article reports on statements made by Luis Elizondo.

The Pentagon has said that the Advanced Aerospace (or Aviation) Threat Identification Program (AATIP) ran from 2007 to 2012. This is false, Elizondo says. He and other people at the Department of Defense continued the work. The DoD continued to fund (reappointed money) the programme, according to the article.

Elizondo, an intelligence official, ran the U.S. Department of Defense UFO programme, the Advanced Aerospace (or Aviation) Threat Identification Program. He is now the Director of Global Security & Special Programs for the To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science.

Betty Cash, Vickie Landrum and Colby Landrum, Vickie’s seven-year-old grandson, sighted a UFO over the Piney Woods, near the town of Huffman, Texas, on 29 December 1980, at around 9:00 p.m.

Twenty-three U.S. military helicopters were trying to encircle the UFO, according to the witnesses. They sighted two types of helicopters, double rotor CH-47 Chinooks and Bell-Hueys.

All three UFO witnesses suffered severe physical injury as a result of the encounter with the UFO.

The cow mutilation took place in Calabacillas, Entre Rios, Argentina.

The animal belonged to farmer Roberto Cutro, who says the incident occurred perhaps during February 2014.

Cutro was illuminated by a powerful light (two lights) from above at the moment (around 8:00 p.m.) he found the mutilated cow. Startled, he fled the scene.

This is not the first time “lights” have appeared in the area, according to the article.

The case was investigated by Dr. Olivera, a municipal veterinarian.

The article also alludes to an Argentine government team that investigate animal mutilations.

John Fife Symington, who himself saw the enormous UFO, talks about the 13 March 1997 Phoenix, Arizona, UFO incident.

He reveals that his Governor’s administration called the Pentagon about the UFO incident. He is of the opinion that the Pentagon knew there had been sightings – but they were not willing to talk about it.

Symington, who served in the U.S. Air Force, says that an issue like this mass UFO sighting go up the chain of command all the way to the Pentagon.

A mystery aircraft was sighted near the California/Oregon border on 25 October 2017.

Multiple pilots saw the aircraft.

The unidentified aircraft was first registered on radar before becoming invisible to radar.

The incident has been confirmed by both the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the U.S. Air Force, according to the article.

The Drive filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to get hold of information pertaining to the incident.

“Once again, beyond becoming invisible to radar, this aircraft had no transponder broadcasting nor did it ever communicate verbally with air traffic controllers.”

“On July 25, 2001, NIDS sent a FOIA request to the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) requesting radar tapes (Tracon) for the July 14-15, 2001 timeframe around the Carteret UFO incident. NIDS also requested the tower voice tapes for the same time period from Newark International Airport.

Prior to receiving the FOIA data, NIDS received a preliminary analytical report that details unidentified flying objects without transponders detected on air traffic control radar in the airspace around Newark International Airport on the night of July 14-15, 2001. The report is summarized in table form below.

The following points are to be noted:

All times in the report are Zulu time (GMT). Subtract 4 hours to get Carteret time for each data point.

Speed of the different objects is measured in knots (kts).

EWR refers to Newark International Airport.

_None_ of the objects in the table below had transponders.

By far the most noteworthy aspect of this communication is the large number of objects detected that DO NOT have transponders (all commercial aircraft have transponders) in the airspace around Newark International at the same time that an estimated seventy eyewitnesses on the New Jersey Turnpike and a further fifty (estimated) witnesses from Staten Island reported unidentified lights in the same area of sky.

A request to randomly check for aircraft without transponders at the same time on a DIFFERENT night produced the result that there were no objects without transponders in the air around Newark International airport on that second, randomly chosen, night.

This ‘control’ study lends support to the notion that such a large profusion of objects without transponders in the air around one of the busiest international airports in the world is unusual. Secondly, the fact that multiple objects without transponders were in the same airspace while over one hundred eyewitnesses on the ground were watching several unidentified objects over Carteret may be of interest.
