The UFO encounter lasted some fifteen minutes, and the UFOs flew very close to the jet fighters. When the UFOs flew close to the jet fighters Karakus could see nothing but a yellow beam of light.

The control towers at airports in Ankara, Istanbul and Konya also detected the UFOs on their radar screens.
