“1952: ROUTE CONTROL CENTER: CAA radar expert James Richey w/ LIFE Military correspondent Clay Blair Jr. SOT saying he hasn’t talked to [Samford, not Sanford], however, they’re going to try to explain it, Blair saying military says light refraction.”

Transcript of CAA radar expert James Richey’s statement:
“I haven’t talked to General Samford. I am sure he knows a lot more about this stuff than I do. However – I can’t think that that explains the lights that we see appearing across the sky – that these pilots have reported – the pilots seeing lights. However, I have no doubt that it can be explained as some kind of weather phenomenon, too. I am sure the Air Force is gonna try to do it. They are gonna try to point things out – and make everybody satisfied that that’s what they’re seeing – something caused by weather inversion.”

My comment: The important sentences here are: “However – I can’t think that that [weather inversion] explains the lights that we see appearing across the sky – that these pilots have reported – the pilots seeing lights.” “They are gonna try to point things out – and make everybody satisfied that that’s what they’re seeing – something caused by weather inversion.”

On top of that – one can see from Richey’s body language (my interpretation) that he does not buy the “weather inversion” explanation for one second. It is always good to see an honest person.

“The 1952 Washington, D.C. UFO incident, also known as the
Washington flap, the Washington National Airport Sightings, or
the Invasion of Washington, was a series of unidentified flying
object reports from July 12 to July 29, 1952, over
Washington, D.C. The most publicized sightings took place on
consecutive weekends, July 19–20 and July 26–27.”

UFO News Article:
“Navy Pilot Who Filmed the ‘Tic Tac’
UFO Speaks: ‘It Wasn’t Behaving by
the Normal Laws of Physics’ ”

19 December 2019
(New York Magazine, New York City, New York)

New York Magazine presents an interview with F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter pilot Chad Underwood.

It was Underwood who filmed the Tic Tac UFO on 14 November 2004 during the 2004 USS Nimitz exercise off San Diego, California.

This incident was part of the November 2004 USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group 11 UFO incidents that occurred about a hundred miles south west of San Diego, California.

The David Fravor and Jim Slaight incident also occurred on 14 November 2004 (a short while before the Underwood incident).

To my knowledge, ten U.S. Navy personnel, Sean Cahill, Kevin M. Day, David Fravor, Patrick J. Hughes, Omar Lara, Jim Slaight, Jason Turner, Chad Underwood, Gary Voorhis and Ryan Weigelt, have talked (or written) about the UFO incidents on the Internet.

Sean Cahill was the Chief Master-at-Arms aboard the USS Princeton.

Kevin M. Day was a Senior Chief Petty Officer (radar operator) aboard the USS Princeton.

David Fravor, who chased the UFO (resembled a white Tic Tac), was flying his F/A-18F Super Hornet jet fighter.

At the time of the UFO incident, Fravor was the commanding officer of the VFA-41 Black Aces, a U.S. Navy strike fighter squadron.

P. J. Hughes was an aviation technician aboard the USS Nimitz.

Omar Lara was a Flight Decker in Air Ops aboard the USS Nimitz.

Lieutenant Commander (later Commander) Jim Slaight was the pilot of the second F/A-18F Super Hornet jet fighter (the David Fravor incident).

Jason Turner was a Petty Officer Third Class (in Supply) aboard the USS Princeton.

F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter pilot Lieutenant Chad Underwood filmed (on 14 November 2004) the Tic Tac (FLIR1) UFO using a Raytheon AN/ASQ-228 Advanced Targeting Forward-Looking Infrared (ATFLIR) pod. The UFO was filmed a while after David Fravor’s incident.

Gary Voorhis was a Fire Controlman Petty Officer Third Class aboard the USS Princeton.

AD1(AW) Ryan Weigelt, Aviation Machinist’s Mate Petty Officer 1st Class, was present on the USS Princeton during the November 2004 UFO encounters.

A large number of UFOs were recorded on radar on and off for several days during the November 2004 U.S. Navy exercise, according to USS Princeton radar operator Kevin M. Day.

Gary Voorhis experienced that the unknown objects “zoomed around at ridiculous speeds and angles and trajectories,” and that “it (the UFOs) was moving faster than our radar could register.”

“What I believe is really going on here is that the few individuals in the U.S. government who know about this issue believe the phenomena might be a threat. And they don’t know how to deal with it.”

UFO News Article:
“OPINION: The real reasons the US
Government is so secretive about UFOs”

By Tom Rogan, 17 December 2019
(Washington Examiner, Washington, D.C.)

Quote from the article:
“What I believe is really going on here is that the few individuals in the U.S. government who know about this issue believe the phenomena might be a threat. And they don’t know how to deal with it.”

My comment: I agree 100% with this statement, Mr. Rogan. Based on all the U.S. military (and other militaries) UFO evidences (government documents, radar recordings, gun camera footages, films, photographs, landing evidences and reports by pilots and other personnel), the military (at least some of the top brass) knows the UFO phenomenon is real and that the unknown objects exhibit extremely advanced technology that cannot be matched by any known Earthly craft or technology.

And – let us not forget the ICBM/UFO incidents (including shutdowns by UFOs of nuclear weapon launch facilities in the 1960s) in the U.S. Northern Tier states. So – high ranking U.S. military officials know (without a doubt) that UFOs represent a current and future threat to the Earth.
