Quote from the UFO report:
“This 26 page chrono involves a number of people. First of all, I want to thank Ted Bloecher. His 1967 work, the entire updated version, is available on the NICAP site (See below). Over a thousand incidents, many of which are included in the chronology below, are listed in the charts from ‘The Report on the UFO Wave of 1947’ (Reference 1).  We also wish to thank Wendy Connors and Mike Hall for allowing us to post their great book, ‘Alfred Loedding and the Great Flying Saucer Wave of 1947’. No 1947 work would be complete without the aid of Jan Aldrich of Project 1947. I want to thank all the members of the A-Team who made this possible. To view the 1947 sightings listed by Blue Book click here. Be sure to click on and read the two great books below. Finally, I want thank Loren Gross for thoughtfully and diligently collecting data many years ago for his UFO Histories and supplemental notes, in particular here the year 1947. And a big thanks to CUFOS and Mary Castnor for housing them on the CUFOS site.
