Quote from the article, “DEPUTY
CHIEF OF NAVAL OPERATIONS DENIES UFO ‘SHOOT TO KILL’ ORDER”:
“In an official statement to
NICAP, Vice Admiral Thomas S. Combs, Deputy Chief of Naval Operations, has denied
published reports of a Navy ‘shoot to kill’ order applying to Unidentified
Flying Objects. The press account, originally published in the Fullerton,
California, NEWS TRIBUNE, has recently been revived because of an official
admission by the Air Technical Intelligence Center that Air Force pilots have fired
on UFOs. (Air Force comments on this ATIC statement are discussed elsewhere in
this issue of ‘UFO INVESTIGATOR.’)”(nicap.org image)
