The Australian TV channel reports on a Nullarbor Plain, Australia, UFO incident that occurred on 17 October 1988, according to ufos-scientificresearch.blogspot.com (Keith Basterfield) (ufos-scientificresearch.blogspot.com).

A glowing, 3 meter sphere followed a bus for 8 kilometres. The unknown object was circled by a smaller sphere.

The incident, which took place near Mundrabilla just after midnight, was witnessed by bus driver Peter Chapman and five passengers, according to the TV report. The other twenty passengers were asleep.
