“Several persons in nearby Rayburn Township saw flying saucers over the weekend (6-7 September 1952), according to reports received by state police.

They appeared in the northeast and headed straight across the sky, said Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wyant, who described the objects as ‘like wagon wheels with flaming centers.’ Other witnesses said they saw the objects so low they could be lit up with a spotlight.”
