“Four United States Army airmen yesterday reported
seeing a white object flying at 60 to 80 miles an hour over Communist territory on
the Korean western front, an official intelligence report said.
The object was reported seen in the Old Baldy-Pork
Chop Hill area.
An official report said the airmen in two planes
observed ‘a white, rounded, delta-shaped object’ while flying routine
reconnaissance missions.
The object was estimated to be five to seven feet in
diameter. The observers had no idea of its depth of thickness.
‘It was travelling between 60 and 80 miles an hour in a
vibrating motion. The course of flight was north north-east by south south-west
over enemy territory,’ the report added.
The altitude of the object was not reported.”
