Quote from the article:
“Two Civil Aeronautics Authority technicians reported
sighting a giant tadpole-shaped ‘flying saucer’ while they were working at
Bradley Field, Windsor Locks, Monday afternoon (25 September 1950).
Edward R. Pasiutti, chief technician, and Joseph F.
Pepi, assistant technician, said the object, which they described as appearing
to be about 200 feet
in size, cavorted at tremendous speeds for about three minutes over the West
Hartland Hills, to the northwest of the field.
Pepi said he sighted the object at 3:15 p.m.
The men claim the saucer was about 18 miles away. Basing
their estimates on tower reports that cloud bases were 4500 feet , the
technicians are certain the saucer was about 4000 feet up.
Both men are convinced the object they saw came from
another planet. Both have had vast experience in aircraft.”
