July 29, 1952; Osceola, Wisc. (BBU 1731)
1:30 a.m. Radar operators on ground and pilot of F-51 Mustang in flight. Several clusters of up to 10 small radar targets and one large target. Small targets moved from SW to E at 50-60 knots (60-70 mph), following each other. Large target moved at 600 knots (700 mph). Pilot confirmed one target. 1 hr. Summary says photos were taken. (Berliner)”
