Two civilian guards sighted a spherical shaped UFO which manoeuvred over the Anniston Ordnance Depot (now Anniston Army Depot) (North-Eastern Alabama) on 2 January 1959 (or 3 January) (the document mentions both dates), at 7:00 p.m., according to the Project Blue Book document:
