Kevin D. Randle presents his second article on former Peruvian fighter pilot (then Lieutenant, later Air Force Commander) Oscar Alfonso Santa Maria Huertas’ dog-fight with a UFO over La Joya/Mariano Melgar Air Base, Arequipa, Peru, on 11 April 1980. Huertas fired on – and hit the UFO – but the bullets had no effect on the unknown object. Huertas flew a Sukhoi Su-22 fighter-bomber airplane:
