“… Strange lights in Indiana”,
17 October 1973 (The Windsor
Star, Canada)
The article reports about an October
1973 Indiana UFO flap:
UFOs were sighted two nights in
a row.
Richard Pape, his wife and
daughter sighted a UFO near Huntington, Northern Indiana.
Quote from the article:
“Pape said his wife and
daughter saw red and blue lights in the sky as they returned to their home from
their farm property a mile away.
‘It was hovering above us …
about 500 feet
up at the most.’
Pape got back in the truck and
headed home, he said, while the object moved ahead of them.
Pape said the object followed
them home, then ‘hovered over my farm for a while.’ He described it as three
white lights.
Town Marshal Ron Stucker at
nearby Andrews said he saw one UFO South of Huntington and one South of Andrews.
He said they appeared to be lights in the sky.”
